Loftin University Introduces New Kubota and Scania Classes
Loftin University is pleased to announce that it is now offering Kubota Tier 3 and 4 Engine Classes and Scania Overhaul Classes.
Loftin University is a 1st class learning center where technicians of all skill levels can learn about the Kohler Power Systems products. We teach in both a classroom and a practical lab, with a broad cross section of equipment that fully encompasses the technology seen in the field and offered by Kohler.
Kohler Power Systems has completed construction of a 105,000-square-foot addition to the company’s generator manufacturing plant in the town of Mosel, Wisconsin, north of Sheboygan.
Herb Kohler, chairman and chief executive officer of Kohler Co., opened a ribbon-cutting event for the addition this week by thanking employees for their hard work and perseverance during the project.
President and chief operating officer David Kohler cited the growth of the company’s power generation business in all major markets.
“We are driving our growth through a focus on quality, innovation and service, and that success is allowing us to invest in our Wisconsin operations,” David Kohler said.
The extra square footage at the plant expands storage for product parts and related materials and increases production capacity with an additional 140 tons of crane capacity to enable easier loading of large generators after production for transport.
